Walt: Identify the theme of a text. 
 
Task description: We have been leraning about helping earth change a better
life, and helping friends change to when their in trouble. But sometimes we 
can change it like eanviroment in 100% not 5% we need to make it higher
and help stick on that right percentage everytime.

This is my visual mihi, on the left top is the flag of the cook island's
the 15 stars represents the 15 islands. Most of course the bottom right
is family, family is really important to remember weather they have past
and think about the happy memories they have done to us.

The prince who gave up everything.

Walt: Find evidence in a text and infer.
 
Task description: We are learning about the prince who gave up everything
and answering questions to intresting facts about India and how many 
languages do they speak in?. 

How to learn?

How to husk a coconut.

1. Climb a coconut tree and grab a coconut.

2. The coconut should be the color green as it is ripe.

3. Get a rock and carve a big stick until it is sharp.

4. Get the stick and plant it to the ground until it is secured down.

5. Get the coconut stab the coconut in the stick in the middle and keep going until the skin is off.

6. Once your done get a butcher knife and cut around the coconut in half.

How to weave a basket.

1. Pull the flax down from a coconut tree.

2. You get ur flax and split it in half.

3. Get both pieces of ur flax and stick it together.

4. Start flaxing until it makes a basket.

How to keep healthy.

1. Always keep fit everyday.

2. Eat healthy fruit and vegetables.

3. Drink heaps of water so you can be hydrated.

4. Train really hard to keep your body motivated.

5. Always work hard.

The Treaty of Waitangi.

Walt:Under stand the timeline of events leading up to the signing of the treaty.
 
Task description: In room 5 literacy classes we have been learning about
the Treaty of Waitangi, from back in the days when their was war and
Maori tribes protecting their countries, city's, or towns.

Walt: Use present tense throughout our writing use self and peer assessment to edit our writing.

How to prevent yourself from getting
sick.

Introduction -

We have been learning about how to prevent yourself from getting sick, a sickness is a really bad
cause to your body, even when your outside playing around without no hat, you would get skin
cancer which is why we need to wear a hat all day and everyday.  

1. To keep your body healthy and energized you should always eat vegetables and
fruit to keep your skin nice and clean. Healthy vegetables is good for looking after
your stomach, lungs, and eyesight.

2. If you have a problem from having all this sickness in you, you should go to the
doctors and get some medicine to make you feel all better from the fever you had even
when your in class you should always cover your mouth.

3. If your going to class and get your lunch and you were touching things, you
should always wash your hands before the germs spread across your body or to
someone else or they might get a problem with there sickness too.  

Conclusion -

When your getting your lunch you should always wash your hands before you eat, because
if you don’t you would put germs on your own food you were eating then you would catch
the sickness.

Conclusion: Is it really hard to mainly do hard tricks that are high or low
and are obstacle courses easy to balance and handle on a unicycle.

How to save money?

Walt: Use connectives in our explanations.

How to save money?

• Buy things you need not want.

      When your in a shop u always get things however you        

        need than want instead, because that is how you are wasting

        money on expensive things, so you should buy things that are

        cheap and that are needed.

 

     

• Don’t spend your money all in one day.

      The main reason for not spending money all in one day, is  

        because when you get older you might as well spend it on the

        power bill, or maybe as food when you are starving.  

• Buy budgit stuff not expensive things.

       Therefore you should always stick to cheap stuff because it  

          saves money on things you need, expensive things is how you

          waste all of the things you wanted everyday.

• Piggy bank.

         Putting money in your piggy bank is saving a lot of money all

         the time although then spending your savings on expensive  

         stuff. I believe that saving money is a good choice then

  spending it all.

Conclusion: How to save money and how to not spend money on expensive things. You should save your money savings for anything you need than want.

Mars one astronaut.

Walt: make connections with what we read, and what we have read before.

Task description: In room 7 literacy we have been learning about mars and how it is. Today we had to finish off all our work and drawing a picture of your character you did on pixel editor which was really hard for me. Why i did mechanic builder was because i wanted him to fix like technology things and learn more then being a builder in space, we were also aloud to use languages for this person too.

School cross country

Walt: Structure a recount.
 
Task description: We have been doing our school cross country last week
on Friday the 1st of September it was really enjoying for me. Just starting
to run for cross country was really tiring and hard to pull my legs out of
the deep muddy puddles but was really funny because me and my friend
Tehillah was having fun though while all the other girls are huffing and
puffing. It was espically fun when we were all singing songs with my friends
and playing games together and making them up to.

Task description: We are learning all about the red planet
mars and have done activity's like a post card which i am 
doing for my blog. We have also been writing the post card 
for someone like a friend or a especially a teacher and have
wrote about how we explore mars.

Task description: This is all about the 8 planets and about what they are 
too, there is also a planet that is the funniest which is Uranus because it
lies's on it's side even when it is orbiting the sun. What planet do you like?

Task description: We have been learning about new Zealand and what it
means to be their and why you should be their. We have also been talking
about what city in new Zealand would you go to? i would really want to go
taupo because their are heaps of waterfalls you can play in but the problem
with it is it is really smelly.

Advice blog

Walt: About the sun.
 
Task description: We are helping Chris Yoddle for advice about the sun 
and how long it goes it also takes from earth to sun 171 years to get their 
which is reall really long. It is also in the middle of the solar system which
all the 8 planets are orbiting around the sun it is really slow. 

Picture book.

Walt: Write for a younger audience. 

On a cold afternoon bunny 1 and bunny 2 wanted to go and discover the 8 planets near the moon. So they had a visit to NASA to fly off in the air they were really really excited but they had a problem here.

So bunny 1 and bunny 2 accidentally pressed a button, ohhh no what to do, you pressed the wrong button bunny 2. 5 4 3 2 1 BLAST OFF.

Taking off in the rocket bunny 1 and bunny 2 didn’t know what to do so they quickly put on there astronaut suits. While bunny 2 was sitting down he thought that mercury was a town, then bunny 1 saw something ahead while looking it was mercury again. It was way too hot for them.

Blasting right off to the 2nd planet venus was our next medium planet. So bunny 2 hippity hopped couldn’t wait so she stopped they thought it was familiar they thought it was to brown they thought it wasn’t the right planet for them to sit down.

Looking at this planet looked much like home so they skipped to the 4th one and off they go.

Before they would go and hippity hop on this planet they said we need to discover this mars planet. Bunny 2 said there would be much much trouble i think you can not stand on this big giant bubble.

Rushing to the 6th planet jupiter, bunny 1 was acting familiar he was running and running not to stop he couldn’t wait to meet the next lot. Just jumping up and down bunny 2 sat right down he knew there was heaps of air in it so bunny 2 told bunny 1 to not to touch it.

Going on with the next planet saturn not far ahead they looked and looked until bunny 2 hit her head she had a big lump while jumping right outside bunny 1 told her not to jump before you get a bumpy ride. so they skipped took off to the next planet.

Uranus was our next stop they were really really brave hippity hop on the ship was a blue planet out of space. Neptune was the only one lieing on it’s side which he was really lonely orbiting round the sun on the outside.

Neptune is the last, the farthest planet in the solar system lets take of for a blast. It was really really dark they knew this planet had heaps of rain or lightning or even though like storms.

So bunny 1 and bunny 2 straight away went home woohoo bunny 1 was really excited so they went to Nasa to fly their rocket. So bunny 2 was so relieved that they're back home from earth whew where are we they got really really dizzy that they gave information if the planets were alright they said oh my this planet is indeed really good for limiting you may go bunny 2 and bunny 1 you are believed have a happy ending.

Task description: We have been learning about our solar system

and how it works weather we are talking about Pluto or the eight

planets. Sometimes we have been learning about interesting things

like how they go around the sun for a year which is really really long.
